Dear Professor Lee:

	In connection with a visit to Japan, I would like to visit
Taiwan again and would be interested in meeting people with
common interests and especially visiting your Department and
the Tatung Institute and Company again.  Dr. David Liu of your
consulate in San Francisco is arranging my visit.
I would have about a week to spend in Taiwan.

	The fixed date of my visit to Japan is May 23, where I am
to give a lecture at the 20th anniversary of the Research Institute
of Mathematical Sciences at Kyoto University.
  However, I want to spend a week or two
in Japan, and I don't yet know whether before or after will be
more convenient for my host, Professor Satoru Takasu of that
Institute.

	Are you interested in such a visit, and approximately what
times are more convenient than others?  I can of course give some
lectures on my recent work on artificial intelligence.
